About Me

I grew up in Eastern Washington with a love of stories as stark and radioactive as my home.

College brought me to Western Washington University, where I graduated in 2011 with a degree in theatre and a trophy for winning the National College Improv Tournament with my team, the Dead Parrots Society.

After graduating, I co-founded a theatre company in Seattle and became employed as a prospector of jokes in the internet culture salt mines. After several years shitposting for a day job while making theatre and performing 4 times a week on the side, I scored a job in games, and the rest is well-documented LinkedIn history.

In between many games and many jobs I thought for a moment I’d be happier in film, but after getting into USC and UCLA’s Screenwriting MA programs I toured both programs and decided to turn them down. I had a hunch I had a happier future in games, and I was right.

I now live in Seattle with my spouse and dog, continuing to tell stories to strangers for money while finding time to backpack as far away from the internet as possible.
